April 1-"All fools' Day"
Many European countries for a very long time celebrated New Year's Day on April 1.However,when the Gregorian calender replaced existing Julian calender, New Year Day was shifted from April 1 to January 1.But some people who either did not know this change or refused to accept it, continued to celebrate New Year's Day on April 1.Such people were thought to be fools and they soon became the butt of pracatical jokes.They were sent silly gifts were invited to parties that were not going to take place."

Pregnancy tips.
Standing Posture:
You can check that you are standing in the right way with the help of a full length mirror.Lengthen and straighten your back so that the weight of the baby is centered and supported by your thighs,buttocks and stomach muscles.This will help prevent backache and tone up your abdominal muscles,making it easier for you to regain your figure after delivery.
Work:
Do as much as you can at floor level instead of bending over.
Getting up from bed:
Always turn on your side when you have been lying down.Then move into a kneeling position.Use the strength of your thighs and hands to push yourself up;keep your back straight.
Sleeping position:
As the fetus grows within the uterus,lying on your back is not good due to pressure on the inferior vena cava,a major vein that returns blood from the lower body to the heart.In addition the increased pressure on the back and intestines can cause discomfort.Sleeping on the stomach should be avoided,because it will put pressure on the fetus.
The best sleeping position is on her side,especially the left side,because it allows maximum blood flow to the fetus and improves kidney function in the mother.This helps to reduce any swelling.Placing a pillow between the knees can help her to sleep more comfortably on her side.

Not many of the aspirants
have the spirit of inquiry:
"What are we searching for
and why this quest at all?
Whereto are we headed
and who could guide us in this?
The bulk of the seekers,alas.
are just running hither and thither
in emotioned excitement
spiralling into a maze.
Instead of subtling within
towards the in-dwelling Self,
their mind projects outward
experiencing pleasure and pain.
Quietitude you cannot get
in the thick of the market-place;
and the only path to the goal
is Meditation and Introspection....

TO A FRIEND
In ancient times, men married by thirty;
lasses went to their husbands when twenty;
today in these chaotic times
people marry even later;
marriage cannot come too early;
if children are born late in life,
their parents turn old and weak
before they are grown; one can do things
best in one’s prime; I would like to
thank my parents for their help, but
they passed away and my filial
heart cannot express itself; today
of those on the imperial payroll,
a few are able to help their parents, while
an official with a big income
spends it all on his wife and children;
how can we bring our customs back
to normal? I await your
coming to office to do this, so that
filial sons and daughters
can pay respect to their parents
before they are dead and gone.
At present what we see around us is reflected way back in 772 to 811.
This shows that throughout the world and at all times there is no change in human behaviour.
